Lenny Tischler, MA. LPC
Lenny Tischler earned his Master's Degree from the New School for
Social Research in New York City. He taught Sociology at the University
of Southern Colorado. University of South Dakota and the University
of New Mexico. He is also a Certified Family Mediator.
Since
1985 he has been a therapist in Santa Fe working in both private
practice
and in various human services positions such as
Family Mediator for First Judicial District Family Court and
Clinical Director of Outpatient Services for Esperanza Shelter.
Tischler's
practice has also focused on addictions, domestic violence,
divorce and child custody issues, emotional trauma
and the severely
disabled mentally ill.
To
sum up his approach to addictions treatment, Tischler uses the
12-Step model as his foundation
supported by a humanistic
approach
to self development and self awareness.
