Residential
Program Admission Process
The
following information describes the process necessary for admission
to the Santa Fe Recovery Center’s 7 day Detox Program and
28 day Residential Treatment Program.
The
first step is a telephone screening with the Intake Coordinator.
This screening must take
place directly with the person wishing
to be admitted into our treatment program. The information required
for intake is personal and confidential; therefore, it is appropriate
and necessary for the person desiring treatment to be the source
of our information. We do understand that family members may
make the first telephone call, however we encourage the person
in need
of help to be part of his or her admission process.
The
second step is submission of income and residential
documentation to
determine fees for services. If the individual has private
insurance, we will schedule an appointment for a Psychological
Evaluation,
and our billing specialist will call for authorization of benefits
to determine if insurance will cover treatment at SFRC.We
also have a self-pay rate for individuals paying out of pocket
for treatment.
The
third step is the Psychological Evaluation or
Clinical Evaluation. This is done in person and is required
to ensure
that the individual
meets criteria for admission to the program. This evaluation
is sent to the appropriate payment source and admission
authorization is determined based on the evaluation. Once authorization
is received
and all documentation reviewed, an admission date is given.
There is no fee for this service.
The
fourth step is a medical clearance with a TB
test completed by your primary care physician.
We have our own form that
we will be happy to fax to the Physician or Clinic of
your choice,
if you
provide us with the fax number. This evaluation must
me done no more than 72 hours prior to admission or download.
Please
understand that the admission process does take time and that
we must have all the necessary information
before
a bed
date is assigned. Once an individual has been cleared
for admission, the Intake Coordinator will contact
them with
admission details.
Fees
the for Residential Program are as follows:
3-7 day detox: $350/day
28 day residential: $350/day
Santa
Fe Recovery Center provides treatment at an affordable rate.
We accept most
private insurance companies
including Presbyterian, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue
Shield, Lovelace, and United Behavioral Health. For individuals
who have private insurance, co-pays are due at time of
admission. For self-pay clients, half
the cost of treatment is due at admission, and
the remainder is due at discharge.
Payments may be submitted by check, cash, or major credit card.
Additional billing arrangements can be made with our billing
specialist
if needed. For further information,
please contact our Admission Coordinator, Lorinda Salazar, at
