Yolanda Basoco Briscoe, MEd., PsyD. is the Executive/Clinical director of the Santa Fe Recovery Center. Dr. Briscoe is a licensed psychologist (California and New Mexico). She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in education, and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso. In addition, Dr. Briscoe received a Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of San Francisco. Originally from El Paso, Texas, Dr. Briscoe spent the last nine years living in Northern California. Dr. Briscoe has a broad range of clinical experience that includes; working as a program director for a residential treatment center, grief and loss counseling, and providing psychotherapy with dually diagnosed individuals, PTSD, and mood disorders. Prior to coming to Santa Fe, Dr. Briscoe worked as a clinical psychologist on a behavioral unit at the largest facility in the country for adults who are developmentally disabled. Dr. Briscoe extends a warm welcome to those seeking a safe, nurturing, and compassionate recovery experience.
