Our outpatient treatment offers flexible, effective treatment options, whether you’re stepping down from residential care, balancing family and work commitments or beginning your recovery journey in an outpatient setting. Each plan is designed to meet you where you are, providing the tools, guidance and community support to help you thrive.

Outpatient Services Built Around You

Santa Fe Recovery Center offers two structured outpatient treatment plans to support your journey to wellness:

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP):

Based on the evidence-based Matrix Model, our IOP plan provides nine hours of weekly support over 16 weeks, equipping you with skills for early recovery, relapse prevention and more. This plan is ideal for those seeking a highly structured approach.

Regular Outpatient Treatment (ROP):

Typically lasting 12 weeks with three hours of weekly support, ROP offers a flexible approach that helps you build healthy routines, manage stress and connect with a sober network.

Note: Individuals engaging in either outpatient treatments can also engage in Medication-Assisted Treatment.

Individual, Family and Relationship Therapy:

Strengthen connections and address relational challenges in a supportive environment.

Relapse Prevention and Addiction Education:

Gain knowledge and strategies to prevent relapse and understand addiction.

Life Skills Training and Vocational Support:

Peer-Based Support Groups:

Available during the day and evening, fostering community and accountability.

Experiential Therapies:

The Matrix Model Approach in IOP

Our IOP treatment is rooted in the Matrix Model, an empowering, non-judgmental approach specifically designed for stimulant addiction recovery but adaptable to other substance use disorders. The Matrix Model combines a variety of evidence-based methods in a structured format, helping you build resilience and self-worth as you work through recovery.

Early Recovery and Relapse Prevention:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychoeducation:

Santa Fe Recovery Center’s “Treat First” approach is built on meeting you where you are and addressing your most immediate needs. This model begins with a quick assessment, allowing you to start counseling right away with up to four outpatient sessions before a comprehensive Bio-Psychosocial Assessment is completed. “Treat First” ensures you get the support you need without delay, helping you take that crucial first step.
