Crisis Services in McKinley County

Santa Fe Recovery Center (SFRC) provides crisis response services throughout McKinley County for children, adolescents, adults, families, and older adults experiencing behavioral health crises.

Services are available across the lifespan and are designed to provide timely support, crisis stabilization, safety planning, care coordination, and connection to ongoing treatment and recovery resources.

Mobile Crisis Team Services

Available 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week, 365 Days a year. SFRC's Mobile Crisis Team provides community-based crisis response services throughout McKinley County for individuals of all ages experiencing behavioral health crises.

Mobile Crisis Team services may include:

Individuals may access crisis services by calling SFRC’s crisis response line or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Calls are screened and triaged by trained crisis personnel to determine the most appropriate response based on individual needs and safety concerns.

Adult Walk-In Crisis Services:
Ages 18+
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Youth Walk-In Crisis Services:
Ages 0-17
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Please Note: Walk-in crisis service hours differ from Mobile Crisis Team availability. Mobile Crisis Team services and crisis phone support remain available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Adult walk-in crisis services provide immediate support for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises, emotional distress, substance use concerns, or urgent mental health needs.

SFRC provides crisis services for children, adolescents, and families experiencing behavioral health challenges, emotional distress, substance use concerns, or mental health crises.

Services may include:
• Crisis assessment
• Safety planning
• Crisis stabilization
• Family support
• Care coordination
• Referral to ongoing behavioral health services

SFRC utilizes a family-centered approach and works collaboratively with parents, guardians, caregivers, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners whenever clinically appropriate and legally permissible.
